I am a native Dallasite have lived throughout the metroplex. After I graduated from Bishop Dunne H.S. in Oak Cliff, I moved to the Lakewood area and have lived in the Garland, Richardson, Plano East, Plano West, Preston Hollow, & Argyle cities around the DFW metroplex.
As third generation in the produce business I was influential in the growth of the family business from $8M to over $100M in thirteen years. While serving as V.P. of W.W. Rodgers & Sons Produce, I introduced tomato re-packing in to the company. Along with my cousin and father we took the company to DOLE Fresh number 10 customer in the world. and negotiated pricing for clients. My wife Vicki and I were co-founders of S&V Distributors, Inc. The company was a distributor, grower, and shipper of fresh produce.
S&V Distributors, Inc. received the Business Charter Award in our Red Book for the Produce Industry. Acting as Sales Manager for company, I trained salespeople to purchase, sell, and to to read the market to negotiate pricing while setting ads for major chain stores, wholesalers, and foodservice companies throughout the United States. In 2001, I received my Texas Real Estate License.
I sold small ranches in Argyle, Texas as well as urban homes in the Dallas Metroplex. Over the last 4 ½ years, I sold new homes in Oklahoma. Because of a former growing background, my interest took me to study Natural Growing methods and I maintained a cost saving yard care blog on how to maintain your lawn, plant trees properly, plant shrubs, and other such tips.
I joined Ebby Halliday Realtors in 2012. Working with buyers & sellers achieve their real estate goals is a top-priority for me. I have hobbies in Natural Growing methods and I train and educate people in Tomiki Aikido. My goal is to apply my successful business background in a way that is beneficial to my clients.
